WinKey is for generating S/KEY compatible passwords. To install it 


simply dump the executable and help file in a directory and run 


WINKEY.EXE. It supports both MD4 and MD5 type S/KEY passwords. For 


details see the on-line help file and setup in WinKey itself.





To generate a one-time-password copy the Serv-U response to the USER 


command into the "Challenge" field of WinKey. A typical Serv-U USER 


response would be "otp-md5 997 eden259" (there is more coming back from 


Serv-U, but this is all you should copy into WinKey). Then type your 


password into the "Password" field and hit "Compute". The resulting 


"Response" field is what you should send to Serv-U as your password.





Hint: All this copying works much better when you use the computer's 


clipboard rather than retyping everything.
